Silvretta
Ski Touring: 6 days. An introduction to ski touring techniques and the equipment required.
This 6 day course is located in the Silvretta Alps - a stunning area in the south of Austria on the border with Italy - fantastic touring terrain with easy access to the huts and with good access from Innsbruck by public transport.
The first day will be spent in the pisted areas of one of the superb ski resorts of this area. This is an initial training day looking at touring techniques such as skinning and use of transceivers. This is followed by 5 days hut to hut touring.
